It’s Franchise Friday … We Welcome a New Owner to Northwest Florida!
This Franchise Friday Abrakadoodle is delighted to welcome Tara Scott, our new franchise owner for Northwest Florida! Tara takes over for Erin Bakker and Teri McGinnis, where she worked as a teacher for the thriving program during the past three-and-half years. Over the last year, Tara has also acted as the company’s manager and is looking forward to franchise ownership. Tara attended the Art Institutes online division, studying fine arts. She has resided in the Florida Panhandle for eight years and presently lives in Santa Rosa Beach. “As a business owner, I want to piggyback on the great feeling I experienced as an Abrakadoodle art teacher, giving back to kids and fostering self-expression through art,” Ms. Scott said. She commented, “I see first-hand how differently children experience art, and I love the opportunity to introduce art to students who have reached third and fourth grade and have never held a paint brush.” With Abrakadoodle’s strong multi-cultural programming, Tara also plans to create additional art experiences honoring the cultural richness of the community. Tara has two daughters: eight-year old Kailen and six-year old Larsyn. The girls attend school in Destin and both love art. Please join us in welcoming Tara!
