It’s Franchise Friday!
Today we celebrate Franchise Owner and Army Veteran April Rose Jackson. April Rose, owner and Education Director of Abrakadoodle of Oklahoma City, joined the Abrakadoodle system in 2012 following her service in the armed forces. She and her husband Isaac were eager to launch an art education company and inspire creativity in the minds of children and adults in and around Oklahoma City and in their art room in Moore, OK. They offer after-school enrichment classes, camps, birthday parties, special events and more! One fan exclaimed of her Abrakadoodle of OKC experience, ”So much creativity in one place and April knows her stuff!” April draws on her own educational background and gifts to creatively promote her business both on TV and through Social Media. As a result, within the Abrakadoodle system, April has earned the Media Award twice since beginning her business just three years ago. Also, at her first Annual Conference in 2013, April was recognized as that year’s Rising Splat, a distinction awarded to the franchise owner with the quickest start in their first year of business. Recently, Abrakadoodle of OKC was recognized with the exclusive High Quality stamp, an Oklahoma Afterschool Network (OKAN) honor of distinction awarded to select organizations that are committed to after-school programming that upholds the Oklahoma Afterschool Quality Standards. When April hangs up her Abrakadoodle apron for the day, she enjoys other creative pursuits including scrapbooking and crafting and spending time with friends, family and her beloved Yorkie Lola Jae. We salute April Rose and her entire team of hard-working instructional staff!
