Week Two Art Challenge:

Friedensreich Hundertwasser was an Austrian artist who didn’t have a studio. He painted wherever he was, at home, in nature or on the road. He loved to paint spirals on his paintings and he was a “protector of nature.”

1. Use any materials you have at home and create a picture of nature using spirals. Be creative!
2. Write a composition about why you think it is important to protect nature.
3. Make a list of examples of spirals found in nature such as shells, whirlpool, etc.
